Thinking About Thinking Workshop

We often become anesthetized to the effect our working environment has on our life. This workshops aim is to assist you determine the degree to which you have control over your life. It will help you to identify who influences you to behave the way you do and if it is the way you really want to be seen. The feedback from the questionnaire will help you to focus on the areas of strength that you exercise in determining what you do in your working life.

It will also pinpoint other areas that could possibly be having an adverse impact that reduces the quality of your working life. If you have given control to others the workshop will help you to regain control for yourself.

The content of this workshop includes the following:

* Defining what Thinking is and how we use it
* Using scenarios to test your problem solving process
* The part context plays in our Thinking
* Is Thinking a process or goal directed
* Defining Conceptual Thinking
* Exploring lateral thinking to practice written flexibility
* Exploring lateral thinking to practice visual flexibility
* Three strategies used to learn conceptual rules
* Discussing the Thinking Style model
* Receiving feedback on your Thinking Approaches
* Exploring applications of the four Thinking Approaches
* Defining Strategic Thinking
* Relating your Thinking Approaches to Strategic Thinking
* Practising Strategic Thinking
* Problem solving scenario to test Thinking development
* Planning ways to improve Conceptual and Strategic Thinking



Workshop Cost
The fee is $175 for this half day workshop and $50 for the evening workshop.

*Special fee for participant who has already attended one or more of the half day workshops of $150
